How to enable Auto-back up in Noteshelf (iOS)

Turn on auto-backup so your notes are safely backed automatically.

    1. Go to Settings
      • Notebooks to Backup: Here, you can see the number of notebooks that have been backed up, along with the total number of Notebooks created. 
      • Backup on WiFi only: by turning on “back up on WiFi only,” your notebooks will be backed up only when your device is connected to the WiFi. 
      • Last Back up at: The date and time of your last back-up
        Select “Cloud & Backup”



        3. Turn onAuto-Backup notebooks



        4. Now, select your desired backup location. We have chosen “Google Drive” in this example 



        5. Sign in to the Google account where you would like to back up your notebooks.



        Once you have selected a backup location, you will be able to view more options, such as:

      • Notebooks to Backup: Here, you can see the number of notebooks that have been backed up, along with the total number of Notebooks created. 
      • Backup on WiFi only: by turning on “back up on WiFi only,” your notebooks will be backed up only when your device is connected to the WiFi.
      • Last Back up at: The date and time of your last back-up
      • Storage space used: The amount of storage space used on your drive and how much storage is left.


                    How To Set Up Default Auto-Backup For All New Notebooks:

                   From the new notebook screen, go to:

                   1.  Click the “More options” icon 
                   2. Turn on “Auto Back-up


                   


           Note:

  • Every new notebook created will be automatically backed up to the auto-backup location you chose earlier.

  • If you set up “default auto backup” to Dropbox/OneDrive/GoogleDrive or auto-publish to Evernote, this setting will apply only to new notebooks created using and Quick Note/Notebook.

  • Imported PDFs are not auto-backed up or auto-published to Evernote.
