About Beta Testing & TestFlight

This article will help you if you are facing issues with finding and installing the latest beta of Noteshelf on your iOS device:

  • If you never participated in beta testing before this, please send us a note via the Support option within the app (Sidebar icon > Gear/Settings icon > Support > Contact Us > Send Email) and we will be sure to add you to the beta.
  • Apple’s TestFlight system will not send email invites again if you already accepted an invitation for beta testing for this app in the past. Hence you need to make sure you have the Apple’s TestFlight app installed on your device and see if you can find the beta version in it. You should also receive a push notification whenever a new build is available if notifications are enabled on your device for the TestFlight app.
  • If you are unable to find it in the TestFlight app, this means that you did not accept the initial invitation sent to you. Check your email (even Junk Mail folder) to see if you have an invitation from TestFlight for Noteshelf. If you find it, just accept it and you will then find the beta version within the TestFlight app on your device.
  • If you unable to find an invitation email, please send us a note via the Support option within the app (Sidebar icon > Gear/Settings icon > Support > Contact Us > Send Email) and we will send you another invite.

Note 1: Sometimes, when the betas are major releases and can pose a risk to the user, we release the beta with a separate app name “NS2 Beta”. We will notify the beta testing group if this is a “live beta” (i.e. replaces the App Store version) or a “separate app beta” (i.e. installs as a separate app named “NS2 Beta”).

Note 2: While doing some routine administration of our beta testing groups, we had to reset (delete & re-add) the beta testers list a few months back. If you were impacted by this, you should have already received another invite from us to join back. If you cannot locate that email, please send us a note and we will add you back again. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
