Asking you to pay again to download on another device?

PLAY STORE:

If you use the same Play Store account on your non-Samsung devices, you will never be asked to pay again for the app even on different devices. You can also go to Play Store > My apps & games > Library > And install the app directly from here as well.

 

SAMSUNG GALAXY STORE:

For Samsung devices, pls take note of the following scenarios when trying to restore purchase onto other devices:

  1. Previously, Noteshelf came preinstalled on some versions of Samsung devices (Galaxy Tab S7 and S8 series). If your tablet had the app installed on it upon purchase itself & you're now trying to download the app onto another device now, you will have to buy the app since it is not pre-installed on those devices.
  2. If you're trying to re-install the app on the same Samsung device, in which it came preinstalled earlier, then you can do so by searching for the Noteshelf app in the Galaxy Store directly & download from there itself. If you search in the Play Store, it will ask you to pay for the same since the store is different.
