Noteshelf allows you to import custom paper templates in PDF format, apart from png format. For these, you can import them from Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, or One Drive app too.
You can find templates in Google or you can make your own in an external photo editing app & later import them to Noteshelf.
Custom Templates:
If you want your page template to match the template size of your device, you can use these dimensions. The recommended sizes are as below -
For Portrait templates -
iPad 9.7 : 768 X 960
iPad 10.5: 834 x 1048
iPad 12.9: 1,024 X 1,302
iPad 11: 834 x 1130
iPhone 7: 375 X 603
iPhone 7 Plus: 414 x 672
iPhone X / Xs: 375 X 690
iPhone XR/XS Max: 414 x 808
For Landscape templates -
iPad 9.7 : 1024 X 704
iPad 10.5: 1112 x 770
iPad 12.9: 1366 X 960
iPad 11: 1194 x 770
iPhone 7: 667 X 331
iPhone 7 Plus: 736 x 370
iPhone X: 812 X 331

Custom Covers:
For custom cover dimensions for 1x: 137 X 170. Any image having this width/height ratio will work.
Once you've created a custom template, here's how to import it into the app-
- Tap on + icon on the main shelf
- Choose 'New Notebook' option
- Tap on paper template
- Select 'Custom' in the paper Category list
- Tap on the blank template here with + icon
- Choose the location in which you have saved the custom created template & import it
